I dove into Stoicism after running into Diogenes. Most of my spare times been spent diving into Marcus Aurelius "Meditations" (such an amazing history and relatable honesty). Every time I attempt to extend my understanding past that, I get a little overwhelmed. I have tried reading Massimo Pigliucci "How To Be A Stoic" and others but get lost when it comes to pillars and virtues. The more concrete outline is refreshing after the chaos of Marcus's thoughts, but I just can't seem to wrap my head around how to use them.
Do you believe they are important to focus on everyday, and would someone give me a summary in their own words? Much appreciated.
